Tally Light

Currently PTZOptics cameras do not have a Tally Light built-in.


Please provide any thoughts or feelings on the potential addition of a tally light as a capability of the cameras.

I'm looking to add tally through Tally Arbiter and placing M5StickC's next to the cameras. Is it possible to use the USB port on the camera to power the M5StickC? The M5StickC uses 5V power. Not sure if it's allowed, but here's a link to a video of what I configured using Tally Arbiter from GitHub: https://photos.app.goo.gl/u85yRcfFkrC6EQuC9

That USB 2.0 port on the back of the camera is there solely to provide 5 volts of power for 3rd party devices that need to be used with the camera. So yes, please feel free to use this to power that 5 volt device.
