One of our team members put together the following app to assist with some MIDI control.
The program isn't perfect but has been able to help a lot of people who have had this same request.
I know that there are a few platforms that have started to add TCP/UDP control to their MIDI control capabilities to enable features just as you have requested as well.
Maybe one of our wonderful forum denizens might be able to chime in with a supporting platform or two.

Hi, I'm new to ptz cameras. I'm just wondering if the 20X Optical Zoom ZCam zoom can be controlled by a midi controller?? Is there a way to map a midi key to the zoom function on the camera???
