POE with RS-232 control?

We have two PTZ SDI 20x cameras and the Huddle Cam HD serical controller. I would like to power the cameras using POE while simultaneously controlling the camera using RS-232 (one of the cameras will be daisy chained).

Will this work or will i need to use the 12v DC instead of POE?

Hi JA,

You can power the cameras using POE and then still hook up and use the rs-232 connection. Those connections are not related to each other so you should be fine to use both without any issues.
